Mental health conditions are among the most common health challenges in the United States, affecting millions of children and adolescents. Currently, 1 in 7 children ages 3 to 17—approximately 8 million—has a diagnosed mental or behavioral health condition, while 1 in 5 students faces learning and/or attention issues, highlighting the critical need for comprehensive support and resources.
Our 2025 keynote speaker, Dr. Aliza Pressman, a renowned psychologist and parenting expert, will share actionable strategies for nurturing mental well-being and the power of reparenting to build stronger relationships and create meaningful change in our communities.
Dr. Aliza Pressman combines science and heart to empower parents to raise good humans. She is a developmental psychologist with nearly two decades of experience working with families and the health care providers who care for them. Dr. Pressman is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Behavioral Health Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital where she is co-founding director of The Mount Sinai Parenting Center. Dr. Pressman is also the host of the award-winning podcast, Raising Good Humans, which has nearly 20 million downloads. She has two teenagers.
