Our expert learning specialists create personalized plans to support ADHD, dyslexia, executive functioning challenges, and other learning differences. We focus on each student’s strengths and teach them how to learn in the way their brain learns best.
Our goal is to help students harness their strengths and develop lasting strategies to overcome challenges, equipping them with tools they’ll carry throughout their lives.
We offer both in-person and remote services, providing support to students anywhere in the country. For those starting with in-person sessions, we can seamlessly transition to online support—an ideal solution for students heading off to college or moving away.

The Schwab Learning Center at CHC empowers all types of learners to adopt tools and strategies to optimize performance rather than looking at learning differences as something to overcome.
We work with individuals navigating a range of challenges, including, but not limited to:
ADHD and attention issues can impact learning in many ways, particularly in areas of executive function, including focus, working memory and processing, and task management. Emotional regulation and motivation can also be affected, as well as social challenges with classroom expectations and friendships.
Dyslexia affects learning by making reading, spelling, and decoding words challenging, often leading to slow or inaccurate reading. This can impact comprehension and confidence in reading tasks. The emotional impact can be quite profound.
Dysgraphia makes writing tasks extremely challenging, leading to slow or illegible handwriting, difficulty expressing and organizing thoughts, and struggles with spelling and note-taking. These challenges can also affect a young learner’s confidence and educational risk-taking.
Learning foundational math facts when faced with Dyscalculia is challenging because the learning difference affects number sense and comprehension, and even affects more visual numeric representations such as charts and graphs.
Executive functioning deficits can impact learning by making it difficult for children to plan and prioritize, organize their work, and follow multi-step instructions. Trouble with time management, challenges with focus, and impulsivity are also related.
Learning Differences covers a range of learning issues which impact how children and adults process information. Skills like reading, writing, math, focus in and out of class, and organization are extra challenging due to varied processing styles and can affect confidence and academic performance.
We understand neurodiversity can often impact one’s mental health creating anxiety, depression, or lack of confidence. At CHC, our learning specialists and clinical therapists collaborate seamlessly to provide integrated, interdisciplinary support when needed.
Free parent/caregiver support groups provide a safe, supportive space to share about your experiences raising a neurodiverse child or teen.
We offer customized strategies to optimize your performance in the classroom, workplace, and beyond.
In addition to personalized learning support, we also offer workshops for schools, organizations, and communities. Choose from our established workshops or collaborate with us to design a custom workshop tailored to your organization’s specific needs.
