Anissa Silva Palma is the Program Coordinator at the Schwab Learning Center. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) at San José State University, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Anissa is passionate about supporting individuals—particularly those from marginalized communities—in accessing the resources and services they need to thrive.
In her role at the SLC, Anissa supports the team of psychologists by coordinating psychoeducational evaluation appointments. A proud queer Latina woman, she is deeply committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all clients throughout the evaluation process.
Outside of work, Anissa enjoys spending time with her family, playing trivia, exploring nature, and relaxing with her cat and dog.
