Before joining CHC, Maeve Richard was a senior partner and the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practice leader at Leader Factor. She is actively involved in the Silicon Valley Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion community. Maeve advises for not-for-profit companies and coaches leaders and groups about DEI challenges. She has experimented with ways to engender close and high trust communities of DEI practitioners. She served as SoFi’s first head of diversity and inclusion. Formerly, she served as Assistant Dean and Director of the Career Management Center (CMC) at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where she directed a staff of 24 in equipping and empowering nearly 1000 graduate students and hundreds of alumni annually in their pursuit of career and life aspirations. She was accountable for designing and delivering the CMC’s career advising, employer engagement, job postings platforms, and career education events, services, and resources.
Prior to joining Stanford, Maeve served in a series of executive and management positions overseeing finance, relationship management, human resources, information technology, program management, operations, change management, and corporate finance in various companies, including McAfee, Sun Microsystems, Levi Strauss & Co., JPMorgan, and SRI International. Maeve earned an MBA from Stanford and a B.A. with high honors in Political Economy from the University of California at Berkeley. She was a Youth for Understanding exchange student to Germany and a Rotary Foundation Graduate Fellow at the Universität Heidelberg and has served on multiple Boards.
