Perla Rodriguez Arroyo is an Educational Specialist with nearly a decade of experience serving students with complex learning profiles. Her practice is grounded in empathy, patience, and evidence-based instructional design. She takes pride in cultivating meaningful relationships with her students through active listening and a compassionate approach that promotes emotional safety and academic engagement.

Perla also works closely with families to build trust and maintain transparent communication, ensuring that each learner’s needs are fully understood and supported. With a strong background in IEP compliance and special education law, she ensures that every plan and intervention aligns with both individualized goals and state standards.

Drawing from her passion for neuroscience and psychology, Perla integrates cognitive science principles into her lesson planning to create creative, differentiated, and “outside-the-box” strategies that reach diverse learners. Her ultimate goal is to empower students to discover their strengths, develop independence, and find joy in the learning process.
