Why an IOP is Important After Hospitalization

An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) like CHC’s RISE is a critical next step in the healing process after hospitalization. Mental health professionals agree that recovery doesn’t happen overnight. But with intensive, structured, and ongoing support, teens can build healthy coping strategies—and reduce the risk of future suicidal thoughts or self-harm.
