We Connect the Dots...

So you can succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Schwab Learning Center (SLC)

The Schwab Learning Center is supported by a generous endowment from The Charles and Helen Schwab Foundation.

Success Starts with Understanding How You Learn

For students with ADHD, dyslexia, executive functioning struggles, or other learning differences, the challenge often lies in how they process and retain information—not just the material itself.

Tutoring Isn’t Always the Answer

Traditional tutoring focuses on teaching subject material, but at the SLC, we focus on you—your unique learning style, strengths, and challenges. Our team of learning specialists equips you with personalized learning strategies to boost comprehension, retention, and confidence, empowering you to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Psychoeducational Evaluations

SLC offers psychoeducational evaluations for Stanford students who are seeking a diagnosis for learning disabilities or ADHD, as well as reevaluations for updated diagnoses. The evaluation process includes a 90-minute intake meeting, two to three in-person testing sessions, and a one-hour feedback session via Zoom. Reports are typically delivered within six weeks.

Workshops

Schwab Learning Center staff can conduct a workshop onsite at your school or organization. Download our menu of workshops. We can also work with you to develop a workshop on a topic of your choosing.
